ACB nabs surveyors posted in JMCG

Jaipur: The ACB Special Investigation Unit on Friday arrested Mahesh Kumar Sharma and Rohitash Meena, Surveyors of Sparrow Softtech Pvt Ltd while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from the complainant. The accused are presently posted in Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater. They has sought bribe of Rs 40,000 from the complainant in lieu of showing his commercial house as residential house to save Urban development tax, said Anti-Corruption Bureau’s Director General, Bhagwan Lal Soni. The complaint was verified under supervision of ASP ACB Bajrang Singh Shekhawat and a trap was laid on Friday. The accused are residents of Jamwaramgarh area. The role of the officers and employees of JMCG is also being investigated.
