ACCUSED VP YADAV USED TO GET 2% COMMISSION

Jaipur: Department of Information and Technology joint director Vedprakash Yadav was also a member of the purchasing committee due to being in-charge of the store branch. The investigators revealed that he used to take 2 percent commission in lieu of getting tenders in favour of firms.

The bribe was sought for tenders of Electronic Display, Computer, Printer, Stationery, E Mitra Plus Rural Machine, E-Mitra urban machine and others. Yadav also spent huge amount on higher education of children. A Disproportionate Asset case will also be filed against Yadav by ACB.

Yadav had initially refused to hand over the keys of the almirah, from which Rs 2.31 crore and 1 kg gold biscuit were recovered in Yojana Bhavan, to the police but later confessed the whole truth after strictness and sufficient evidence. The investigators have found documents of the plots in the search at the residence of Yadav in Jhotwara.
