As flights cancel every day, airfares rise for remaining

Jaipur: Three to four flights are being cancelled every day at Jaipur airport due to low passenger load. Instead of operating the flights, the airlines are cancelling the flights causing problems to the passengers.

AirAsia is ahead in cancelling the flights. Air Asia’s flights to Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi get cancelled frequently.

Apart from this, Alliance Air is cancelling the flights operating between Jaipur and Delhi. At the same time, Indigo airlines also occasionally cancel flights to cities like Surat, Goa, Bangalore etc. Whenever airlines cancel a flight, other airlines increase the airfare for that city.

For this reason, airfare from Jaipur to cities like Chennai, Delhi, Surat, Pune etc. is being charged more.
