BJP mulls strategy in MLAs’ meet

Jaipur: A day before the commencement of the Assembly session on Monday, a meeting of the BJP Legislative Party was organised on Sunday, during which a strategy to surround the Congress inside and outside of the Assembly was mulled upon. Sources reveal that BJP will surround the Gehlot Government over the death of cows due to lumpy disease and law and order amongst other issues. Furthermore, the Assembly will be gheraoed on September 20. But before this, a protest will be raised in front of Speaker Dr CP Joshi tomorrow for not prorogating the budget session. Politics around lumpy disease is set to continues and its echo will be heard in the assembly session. A comprehensive strategy was made in the BJP Legislature Party meeting during which BJP state incharge Arun Singh, former chief minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP state president Satish Poonia, leader of opposition Gulab Chand Kataria, deputy leader of opposition Rajendra Rathore, BJP state organisation general secretary Chandrashekhar, whip Jogeshwar Garg, former speaker Kailash Meghwal and party MLAs were present. Kataria said “the gherao will be conducted on issue of death of cows, farm loan waiver, unemployment allowance, corruption and other issues.”
