Laying emphasis on the government’s decision to organize the investment summit in the very first year of its tenure, the Minister said that the decision was taken to ensure that the MoUs are not only signed but also implemented on the ground before organizing the successive editions of the global investment summit. He also highlighted the recent decision taken by the government to allocate specific IAS officers as Point of Contacts (PoCs) to specific countries to take routine follow-up on the investment proposals from the respective country/state and ensure its on-ground implementation.

Addressing the media, Hon’ble Industry and Commerce Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore said, “We are committed to generate jobs and help the Rajasthan’s economy through this summit. We are trying that several MoUs, which have been signed, become operational even before the main summit is held in December this year. We have scaled up the international outreach for inviting the business leaders to Rajasthan to unprecedented levels and doing investors’ meets in different countries and in different cities of the country. In the Delhi Investors’ Meet, we are going to organize roundtable with ambassadors of different countries. We have the desired political will to make the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 a resounding success.”

In the run-up to the summit, various government dignitaries ranging from Hon’ble Chief Minister and Cabinet Ministers to Government officials are touring key domestic and international commercial centers to welcome the investors’ community to the Jaipur summit and help setup their investment projects in the state.
