Bureaucracy opens front, Min Meena justifies self

Jaipur: The dispute between the minister and the Rajasthan IAS Association does not seem to end in the state. On one hand, all IAS officers of the state have come in support of Bikaner collector, other sections and organizations have come in favor of the IAS officers. On the other hand, Minister Ramesh Meena has justified himself through a tweet. 140 members of the Rajasthan IAS Association have demanded an emergency meeting of the association through a resolution. In the WhatsApp group of the Association, members are expressing their anger and resentment. The matter of Rajasthan is being discussed in the group of National Association of Officers. The IFS Rajasthan Chapter has written to the Chief Secretary, “Our Association expresses its anguish over the incidents flagged by the IAS Association of Rajasthan, We strongly condemns it.”

Secretary KCA Arun Prakash has requested the chief secretary that “Take all appropriate steps so that such incidents do not become the norm of the day.” RAS officers of Bikaner Division have handed over a representation to Divisional Commissioner Neeraj K. Pawan and condemned the behavior of the minister. Similarly, the Bikaner District Industries Association has also submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Commissioner condemning the indecent behavior of the minister and has demanded an apology from the minister. IPS Association Rajasthan’s secretary Rajeev Sharma has written a letter to the Chief Secretary that “Such incidents are against the dignity of the officers and lowers their morale. IPS Association requests to take necessary effective steps in that matter.” A delegation led by Vice President of Rajasthan IAS Association Kunjilal Meena and Secretary Samit Sharma met CS Usha Sharma on Tuesday and apprised her about the new development. The Chief Secretary, who is the President of the Association, has asked to wait till the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot returns to Jaipur. Samit Sharma told First India that the resentment of the members is at its peak, they want a respectable solution to the dispute. This is the first time that such a situation has come to the fore.
