City Park to have a dense look using ‘Miyawaki’ method: Arora

Jaipur: Due to RHB Commissioner Pawan Arora’s unique thinking, ‘oxygen pockets’ are now being made with Japanese technology in City Park, which has made a special identity in the country & the world. About 3,000 trees of 35 species are being planted on 8,000 square feet of land in the park.

Under the aegis of RHB, on Friday, Young Indians (YI) President Rahul Singhi, CoChairman Gaurav Bansal, Project (Plantation) President Mohit Jaju, VP Singh (Co-Chairman) planted saplings using Japanese technology.

“Due to its natural beauty, City Park has become popular in the country in a very short span of time. Thousands of people as well as the tourists visit the park everyday. Miyawaki’ technique is being used to give the City Park a dense and natural look. Two years ago, the Rotary Club had planted saplings in an area of 4,000 square feet, which has now become very dense. Through this technique, the plants of common species become thick within a period of two-three years & the plantation looks like a forest,” Arora said while describing the method.
