CM asks to assess damages; Raje-Dushyant do aerial survey

Jaipur/Jhalawar/ Baran: CM Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday instructed officials to conduct a survey to assess the loss of property due to the heavy rainfall in Kota and neighbouring areas. Gehlot said the families of those who died due to floods will be compensated from State Disaster Response Fund. While former CM Vasundhara Raje, along with her son and Jhalawar-Baran MP Dushyant Singh, conducted an aerial survey of flooded areas in Jhalawar, Kota and Baran districts. Raje said that there is a situation of disaster but Gehlot govt is not visible. She said that in many districts including Baran, Jhalawar, Kota, Dholpur, Chittor, P’garh and Bhilwara, floods have affected normal life. Gehlot with Shanti Dhariwal and Parsadi Meena will visit Kota & meet flood affected people today.
