Complete missing link road works: JDC directs officials

Jaipur: In the review meeting held under the chairmanship of JDA Commissioner Ravi Jain, instructions were given to complete the work of missing link roads in Jaipur city and planning of land in the developed corridor of Ring Road. JDC Ravi Jain instructed to acquire the land through mutual understanding or through compulsory acquisition to complete the works of the remaining missing link roads in Jaipur city. Land owners surrendering their land through mutual understanding should be given land in lieu of land or compensation as per rules, he stressed. Jain informed that completion of the work of missing link roads will provide facilities to local residents. Furthermore, the pressure of vehicles will reduce from the main roads and smoothen the traffic congestion.

“The landowners of the land acquired for sector road, who have received compensation for acquisition, but the possession of land has n’t been restored to JDA, identifying such lands, possession should be acquired. Similarly, compensation proceedings that haven’t been completed, should be completed soon,” Jain said. The JDC directed the concerned Zone Deputy Commissioners to make plans for the unplanned land on the ring road. Along with this, the land use of the land should be determined according to master development plan, he said and instructed for planning on undevelopmed land on Ring Road. It was told in the mee that in exemptions given under the PSKS drive in the schemes with more than 60 % population, if the internal road is 20 feet, the lease can be given without approval of layout plan. In this sequence, JDC directed Zone Dy Commissioners to identify such schemes and issue maximum pattas.
