Copper deposits found in Bhilwara

Jaipur: During the exploration of iron ore in Chandgarh of Kotdi tehsil of Bhilwara, copper reserves have been found. Through Rajasthan State Mineral Exploration Trust, the department is getting 3500-meter drilling work done for iron ore in Chandgarh village of Kotdi, Bhilwara. In the early stages of exploration, there are indications of iron ore as well as copper deposits.

Raj has the country’s largest reserves of 54% copper. ACS mines Dr. Subodh Aggarwal expressed happiness in getting copper reserves.

He said the department has decided to speed up the exploration activities with the financial and technical support of the RSMET. Mines Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya has also been emphasizing exploration work in mining potential areas. Dr. Agarwal said that on August 22, the department started the work of drilling 3500 meters of iron ore at Chandgarh in Bhilwara, in which 35 boreholes of a maximum of 100 meters depth are in progress.
