Cops to get promotions for recovering children: DGP

Jaipur: Constable to assistant sub-inspector level policemen, who recover missing children in the state, will be given a special promotion by nominating them for the promotion cadre course as an incentive. DGP Umesh Mishra has issued detailed orders in this regard.

According to this order, constable, head constable and assistant sub-inspector level police officers who recovered 60 children below the age of 18 years, including 25 children below the age of 14 years, in a period of one year will be eligible for a special promotion. DGP Mishra informed that the DGP Commendation Roll will be awarded to encourage policemen from constable to ASI level who have recovered 20 children below the age of 18 years including 10 children below the age of 14 years during a period of 1 year.
