COVID-19 testing begins at airport

Jaipur: The random Covid-19 testing of passengers arriving on international flights started at Jaipur airport on Saturday as the authorities step up measures to prevent possible spread of the infection in the State.

New Covid rules were scheduled to be implemented from 10 am on Saturday onwards. However, no scheduled flight arrived after 10 am. Meanwhile, an international charter flight reached Jaipur airport from Dubai. Two out of 11 passengers on board the flight were tested for corona, while a passenger voluntarily got the RTPCR test done.
