CS nod must for officials’ VC with DCs
Jaipur: The State Government on Friday has fixed the second and fourth Saturdays of the month for holding video conference of District Collectors with Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Secretary to Government.
According to the order issued by Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, for such VCs due permission will have to be sought from the CS while citing the reason, need, duration and date of VC done earlier. If the concerned minister wants to hold a video conference with the district collectors, then prior permission is not required for this.
It is worth mentioning that due to repeated holding of Video Conferences by the departments with the district collectors on various subjects, the collectors find it difficult to carry out the work smoothly in the district.
