Demanding Advt Protection Act, lawyers protest killing

Jaipur: Advocates continued to boycott judicial work in Jaipur on Wednesday and protested against the brutal killing of advocate Jugraj Chauhan in Jodhpur.

The advocates at the Jaipur bench of the High Court and subordinate courts jammed the roads and halted traffic in protest against the killing. The advocates at the session court jammed the roads leading to the collectorate circle and demanded justice for the victim’s family.

Similarly, lawyers outside the high court also jammed the road and protested against the incident. The lawyers also demanded the implementation of the Advocates Protection Act. Former President of Rajasthan Bar Association Bhuvnesh Sharma and several other lawyers protested on Wednesday.
