DoIT Joint Director sent to 3-day ACB remand

Jaipur: The suspended Joint Director of DoIT Ved Prakash Yadav, arrested in the seizure of over Rs 2.31 crores cash and 1 kg of gold from a basement of Yojana Bhavan here, was produced before an ACB judge on Sunday and was sent to 3-day police remand. ACB slueths took the accused to Yojana Bhavan and questioned him about the documents and files in the office. The team also carried out a search at his Vidhyadhar Nagar house. Notably, these corruption deed were availed in purchase of CCTVs and act of hiding it got captured in the CCTV itself.
