Dr Kalla stresses on need of vocational courses in schools

Jaipur: Education Minister BD Kalla expressed the need to integrate vocational and academic education in schools while addressing a oneday orientation workshop for school teachers on New National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 at Bhagwant Singh Mehta Auditorium, RIPA on Tuesday. He said that children should be prepared in such a way that besides being educated, they should help in increasing the production of the country. Kalla emphasised on implementing the NEP. The vision of NEP is to contribute towards transforming India into a vibrant and equitable knowledge society through higher quality education. On the occasion, the MoS for Education, Zahida Khan said that in the changing world, there was a need for a new NEP & make English medium schools available for all.
