Fake liquor units: 4 cops and 3 excise officials suspended

Jaipur: The CST team of Jaipur Police Commissionerate on Saturday sealed four fake liquor factories in Sanganer and Shivdaspura area and arrested ten persons for allegedly manufacturing and selling illegal liquor. The Police Commissionerate also acted against four beat constables and suspended them in this regard. Action will also take against concerned SHOs in this matter. Three excise officials were also suspended.

Additional Commissioner Ajay Pal Lamba said that the police action was taken on January 20 and 21. “Based on specific information about fake liquor factories being run in Shivdaspura and Sanganer area, a recee was done for 10 days and the factories were raided during night. The alcohol was being made by mixing chemicals and water.”
