Frequent flight delays test patience of passengers at Jaipur Int’l Airport

Jaipur: The flight operations at Jaipur International Airport seem to have gone off track these days. Of the 54 flights operated daily from Jaipur, nearly half a dozen flights are delayed regularly. Surprisingly, the delay is not a half hour or one hour, it ranges between three hours to eleven hours. Sources informed that the winter schedule of flights came into force on October 30. The airline companies had given proposals of running 59 flights from Jaipur for the winter schedule, but nearly half a dozen flights are delayed daily. Spice Jet, Go First, and Air Asia flights are delayed on a regular basis, while Indigo flights also get late sometimes. However, Vistara flights are on time on most occasions. The flights get delayed by three hours to eleven hours and often passengers have to wait from morning to evening to board the plane. There have been instances in the past where passengers create a ruckus at the airport due to delays caused by airlines.
