General Body meeting of JMCG hangs in balance

Jaipur: The General Body Meeting (GBM) of Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC Greater), scheduled to take place on February 9, is hovered with ambiguity as BJP MP Ram Charan Bohra and other BJP MLAs have refused to approve the GBM.

The civic body had made preparations for the meeting of the general body and even suggestions were sought from traders, public representatives, and the common public before tabling the budget of JMC. Mayor Dr Somya and Commissioner Mahendra Soni also issued orders in this regard.

A new date for the GBM will be fixed and letters will again be sent to MP and local MLAs for their permission. BJP MP Ramcharan Bohra did not give permission citing the ongoing session of the Lok Sabha,” said Dr Somya.
