Jaipur: Girls studying in Rajasthan University on Tuesday boycotted academic work and protested against recent incidents of teasing and molestation of girls outside University’s Maharani College.
Student leader Komal Mohanpuria said govt should take responsibility for safety of women in the state. “Accused who was caught redhanded while teasing girls outside Maharani College has been set free. Lawyer of accused is building pressure on complainant to settle case through compromise,” said protestors. “We have decided to boycott academic work in protest against administration,” added Mohanpuria.
