‘Huge protest on Friday if PFI officials not released’
Jaipur: After NIA and ED raids on Popular Front of India (PFI), Rajasthan Muslim Forum on Saturday demanded the Central Government to release the arrested PFI officials as soon as possible.
Calling the raid as unconstitutional, the forum said, “If this is not done then there will be a big demonstration in Jaipur on Friday. BJP is trying to intimidate Muslims and Christians but we are not afraid of them.” The NIA and ED must prove that the arrested are guilty, the forum said in a press conference.
They said that action is taken against those who speak against the Central government.
“Continuous rhetoric is being made about the Prophet. But the government is not taking any action. There is anger against the government in all organizations. The Central government is destroying democracy,” they said.
The forum said that the government agencies have started considering themselves as courts and are doing things as per their will.
