Jaipur: Jaipur airport has slipped to 15th place in ranking due to downfall in passenger footfall. Jaipur airport was the 11th busiest airport in the country in February this year but the ranking came down to 15th place in May.

Smaller airports like Srinagar and Patna are ahead of Jaipur. 3.60 lakh passengers travelled from Jaipur airport in month of May, which is less than number of passengers (3.61 lakh) travelled in April. Delhi airport is the busiest airport in the country with 52.38 lakh passenger load, followed by Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Cochin, Goa and Pune. However, the airport is at 12th place in flight operations. As many as 3202 flights were operated from Jaipur in May.
