‘Magician’ Gehlot’s ‘political engineering’ in new districts

Jaipur: ‘Magician’ Gehlot’s ‘political engineering’ was at forefront in constituting new districts as he took decision without any political discrimination. Gehlot made the district from constituencies of 5 BJP MLAs -Anupgarh, Beawar, Phalodi, Salumbar and Shahpura were made districts. He also gave ‘gift’ to 3 independents who saved the government - Dudu, Gangapur City and Behror. He also made Raghu Sharma, Rajendra Yadav and Sukhram Vishnoi happy while PCC Chief Govind Dotasra’s stature increased by making Sikar, a division. Meanwhile, Suresh Modi’s Neem Ka Thana was also made a district and CM Gehlot shocked Khairthal and Dudu locals by making them a district as no such demands were being raised.
