Make ‘Rajasthani’ state’s official language

Former CM Vasundhara Raje cited examples of the states where official language was declared without the need of constitutional recognition.

Jaipur: Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has written a letter to CM Ashok Gehlot demanding that Rajasthani language be declared the official language.

Raje mentioned that the mother tongue of Rajasthan is one of the richest languages of the world. “It signifies our culture and feelings.

Every person wants Rajasthani to be made the official language.” She also gave examples where official language was declared without constitutional recognition.

Speaking on demand to defer RAS exams, she said it is genuine as the syllabus has been changed. Not heeding to such just demands is unbecoming on the part of the government.
