MoU signed on salary package between Raj Police and SBI

Jaipur: In the presence of Director General of Police Umesh Mishra, an MoU for a police salary package was executed between Rajasthan Police & the State Bank of India on Monday.

Under the MoU, life insurance cover of Rs. 5 lacks for the police personnel in case of normal death, and personal accident insurance cover of Rs. 50 lakh in case of death due to accident etc., insurance cover of Rs. 50 lakh in case of permanent total disability and permanent partial disability, in case of an accident, an insurance cover of up to Rs 10 lakh will be available. He informed that under the MoU, SBI will provide RuPay Platinum Card to all policemen.

Under this, an additional personal accident insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh will be available in case of death due to accident, etc. and an additional insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh will be available in case of permanent total disability.

Insurance cover of up to Rs.5 lakh for the graduation of the girl child of the deceased policeman and insurance cover of up to Rs.2 lakh for the marriage of the girl child will also be available in case of death of the account holder policemen in an accident.
