PM Modi’s Dausa visit may be a ‘game changer’ for BJP

Jaipur: The political and electoral stir in Rajasthan has finally been initiated after PM Modi’s Dausa visit. In fact, unity was seen in all the factions of the party in the Prime Minister’s meeting. Meanwhile, some people gave a suggestion to the high command to make Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the BJP State President. As such, Shekhawat is extremely active in Rajasthan from the Centre for the last three years. Usually, he is seen every week in some programme or the other in Rajasthan.

Along with this, in the possible reshuffle of February 22, Dushyant Singh is discussed to be given the important responsibility of the Minister of State in the Union Cabinet. Although till now, Vasundhara camp has never shown any interest in any such proposal.

Therefore, the question is that if Gajendra Singh Shekhawat really becomes BJP President, then where will Satish Poonia go? Due to his clean image and ‘Jat factor’, now Poonis has also become indispensable and with this, now who will be the Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly?
