POLICE RAID 400 PLACES IN 4 HOURS, NAB 159 MISCREANTS

Jaipur: The police officials of Jaipur Police Commissionerate on Sunday morning raided more than 400 places and took 246 people in custody. The police action was taken in the wee hours of Sunday, during which, 32 suspected vehicles, narcotics drugs and illegal liquor was also seized. Police officials from all four districts of Jaipur Police Commissionerate were involved in raids. Additional Commissioner of Police Ajay pal Lamba informed that the raids were planned in view of the increasing incidents of crime and chain snatching incidents in Jaipur. “Between 5am to 9am, 2000 police personnel, including those of CST and DST, raided four hundred places in the city. A total of 246 people were taken into custody and interrogated. Following the interrogation, 159 criminals were arrested. During the search operation, 32 suspected vehicles, narcotics drugs and illegal liquor were also seized,” said Additional Commissioner Ajay Pal Lamba.
