Raj sportspersons to get free medical services, MoU inked

Jaipur: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Abhinav Bindra Foundation Trust (ABFT) and the Rajasthan State Sports Council on Wednesday under which the foundation will bear the expenses of the surgery of the injured players.

Olympian Abhinav Bindra, on behalf of Abhinav Bindra Foundation Trust, and Sports councils’ executive secretary Mahavir Prasad Meena signed the MoU in the presence of Krishna Poonia, Chief Sports Officer Virendra Poonia and Dr Anoop Penupol.

Krishna Poonia said that the Council has signed the MoU with Abhinav Bindra. The foundation will help injured players to revive their careers.

Bindra said that the Foundation will bear the cost of surgery and treatment of injured players of the State.
