RCDF to procure 21L Lumpy vax doses: MD

Jaipur: Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation administrator and Managing Director Sushma Arora on Monday said that the federation has decided to procure 21 lakh vaccine doses to prevent the fast-spreading lumpy skin disease in cows. Out of this, eight lakh doses have been received and vaccination is being done.

Arora said this during a meeting of Manpura Machedi Zone of Jaipur Dairy. She also informed the milk producers about the symptoms of this disease and measures to prevent it. She emphasised on more women joining the District Milk Producer Cooperative Societies. Arora gave a target of collecting two lakh litres of milk per day to Manpura Machedi. She asked the dairy officers to bring state-of-the-art technology to the milk producers so that preliminary investigation can be done in the initial stage.
