RHB extends date for application till Sept 30

Jaipur: A total of 33 coaching institutes have applied in the first phase of the allotment process of institutional properties (coaching complexes) built in the country’s first and one-of-itskind coaching hub project being developed by Rajasthan Housing Board in Pratap Nagar, Jaipur. Given the request of representatives of coaching institutes and coaching federation and the obstacle in the online application process due to heavy rains in the past, the Board has extended the last date of application to Sept 30 for the second phase.

The RHB Commissioner Pawan Arora said that in first phase, 25 applications were received from Jaipur, two each from Sri Ganganagar & Sikar, and one each from New Delhi, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur and Karnal. In the first phase, the coaching owners, who applied with prescribed amount, will be allotted coaching complexes. With the allocation of these 33 coaching complexes, the Housing Board will get revenue of about Rs 55 crore. Arora said that earlier out of a total of 90 showrooms built in Coaching Hub Arcade, 30 showrooms, and two plots were e-auctioned in July, which brought revenue of about Rs 54.70 crore. The Board expects to get an even better auction price from the remaining showrooms. Notably, UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal launched the allotment process on July 19. Around 65 - 70,000 students will be benefitted from the coaching hub. The hub also ease traffic-related problems arising due to unplanned coaching institutes in city
