RHB has become an example of achievements: Shanti Dhariwal

Jaipur: UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal said on Friday that Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) is working out of the box on new schemes and with these schemes, the Board has again succeeded in winning the trust of the common man. Dhariwal addressed the inauguration and launch programme of various schemes of the Housing Board in Jaipur on Friday. On this occasion, the the Minister also launched a mobile app ‘Book My Chaupati’ for the convenience of the people visiting Pratap Nagar and Mansarovar Chaupatis, developed by the Housing Board.

Success came from Wednesday auction festival

The Minister said that when our government was formed, the housing board was in a situation of almost closure. “There were about 20,000 surplus houses, but in a short span of only three and a half years, the RHB team, working with hard work and professional approach, has achieved a turnover of more than Rs 6,000 crore. A total of 14, 437 residential and commercial properties have been sold and revenue of about Rs 3,120 crore has been obtained, which is definitely a big achievement. The Board successfully implemented Wednesday Auction Festival scheme to sell its surplus properties. In the first two months of the financial year 2022- 23, a total revenue of Rs 122 crore has been obtained by selling 950 residential and commercial surplus properties through Wednesday auction festival,” Dhariwal said.

Process of allocation of coaching hub from this month

The UDH Minister congratulated RHB Commissioner Pawan Arora for Board’s success. He said that the RHB Commissioner, setting an example of leadership, instilled the spirit of success in his team. informed that the process of allotment of coaching hub will also start in this month.

City Park will open for public this monsoon

Dhariwal said, “In the coming monsoon, we will open it for the general public with an intensive plantation programme. Board is trying to give possession of the flats of Chief Minister’s Shikshak aur Prahari was Yojna in the month of July.

Principal Secretary, UDH, Kunjilal Meena said that the Board is getting full cooperation from State Government and whatever scheme is received for approval, it is approved without any delay.

Earlier, RHB Commissioner Pawan Arora gave credit for Board’s success to the entire RHB team and said, “Coaching Hub project being developed in an area of 65,000 square meters on Haldighati Marg of Pratap Nagar in Jaipur is the first of its kind in the country. . With its launch, the problem of traffic, parking and commercial activities due to coaching institutes in residential areas will be resolved.”

The RHB Commissioner, Arora said, For the first time in Board’s history, a sewerage treatment plant of 3 MLD in Indira Gandhi Nagar and 2 MLD in Mansarovar has also been prepared. Water from Indira Gandhi Nagar STP will be given to 21 parks there.”
