Roy’s century helps Jharkhand draw match with Rajasthan

Jaipur: The final day of Ranji Trophy match between Rajasthan and Jharkhand saw Anukul Roy and Kumar Kushagra on crease for the guests where the former played a magnificent knock of 125 runs for Jharkhand. The team declared innings on 470-9, setting a target of 276 runs for the hosts.

For Team Raj, Yash Kothari and Kunal Singh Rathore opened the innings, where Yash gave a superb start, missing the century by just 5 runs. Jharkhand could have had a tough time if Kothari stayed on the crease for a bit long, but with Shahbaz Nadeem providing a major breakthrough, the guests got hold of the game. Later, Karan Lamba was adjudged Man Of The Match for his brilliant knock of 122* in his first and 37* in his second inning.

Team Raj will now face Karnataka and Jharkhand will play Chhattisgarh.
