Target not met, Govt extends PSKS campaign by six months

Jaipur: Although the duration of Prashasan Shehron ke Sang campaign was until March 31, the government has decided to extend the campaign by six months to issue more leases to people.

During this period, a target of issuing 10 lakh leases was set. But according to data until March 28, local bodies issued only 6 lakh 91 thousand 779 leases. The Department of Self-Government recently conducted a comprehensive survey and it came to light that there are about eight lakh families across the state who have not yet received leases of their plots.

Division-wise review meetings will be chaired by UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal.
