Taxiway at Jpr airport ready, flight movement to become easy

Jaipur: The airport administration has completed the construction of a taxi track parallel to the runway at the Jaipur airport. The taxi track is from Runway 9 to Runway 27. The advantage of the track would be that take-off and landing of planes will be possible simultaneously. The duration of occupation of the runway will be reduced.

At present, the length of the runway at Jaipur airport is more than 3400 metres. The taxi track has a maximum length of 2280 metres. Now movement of 22 aircraft will be possible against 15 aircraft in an hour.

Taxi track will connect the runway with the aircraft parking and terminal building. Handling of even the largest passenger aircraft like Airbus 380 will be possible.
