UPSC meet for RAS to IAS, RPS to IPS promotions today

Jaipur: In the coming days, the Rajasthan bureaucracy will get a much needed ‘charge of motivation’ as 5 RAS will get promoted to IAS while 3 RPS will be promoted to IPS. For this, there will be a board meeting of UPSC in Delhi on Friday 11 AM onwards which will be attended by CS Usha Sharma.
With the development, the entire bureaucracy is upbeat and there are several names that are doing the rounds. The possible names are Pukhraj Sain, Shruti Bhardwaj, Arun Kumar Purohit, Mukul Sharma, Ajay Singh Rathore, Priyanka Goswami, Jagjit Singh Monga, Ram Niwas Mehta, Arun Garg, Rajendra Singh, Rajendra Kumar Verma, Sanchita Vishnoi, Harsh Sawan Sukha, Ashutosh Gupta and Bhanwar Singh Sandhu.
However, among these Pukhraj Sain, Shruti Bhardwaj, Arun Kumar Purohit, Mukul Sharma and Ajay Singh Rathore are being considered to be the front runners owing to the fact that they have full potential to become IAS.

This promotion will also counter the shortage of secretary level IAS officers in the secretariat. Additionally, this time 3 RPS will also be promoted to IPS.
