With Min Dhariwal’s efforts, Centre releases GST amount

Jaipur: Finally, Minister Shanti Dhariwal’s untiring efforts have paid off. Active lobbying in many forums including GST Council has resulted in Centre releasing GST amount as compensation amount of GST payable from 2017-18 to 2020-21 has been given. Notably, an amount of Rs 1,675.65 cr was pending even after certification of annual revenue by AG. Dhariwal in the 47th GST Council meet in Chandigarh in June advocated that Centre released 1675.65 cr of compensation to the state.
