PASSION IS POWER
There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.
“My motto is I, me and myself,” expressed Tanvi Bagwad, a Delhibased model and actress during a chit-chat session with City First.
Tell us something about yourself.
My name is Tanvi Bagwad and I hail from Delhi, I work as a fashion model. Recently I started performing as an actor as it was on my bucket list since I was a child.
How did your journey begin?
Modelling has always been my passion, I felt it is the field I love and like. I feel different energy and enthusiasm in this profession. This is the reason in spite of many hurdles, I am following my passion.
What were some of the battles you fought and are still fighting in your journey?
Being from a middleclass family, it was hard to convince my parents. but as they saw me growing, working hard and now they believe in me and support me, one of the major battles was people from this field demotivating and criticizing me for my dark complexion and skinny figure. but I reason I am not stopping is my belief in myself.
Talk to us about your achievements.
Along with modelling, I am also doing theatre I did plays and in modelling, people started liking my face and confidence and I got a lot of opportunities and for that, I am working hard.
Where do you see yourself after the next 20 years?
We can not predict the future but I am sure that the fashion and glamour industry will always be a part of my life. Apart from that and I see myself as a successful actress.
