A BLESSED COUPLE INDEED!

New Delhi: A wedding is always a special occasion and the wedding of Shubha and Raman was all the more so as they received personal blessings from the who’s who of the nation.

The wedding of the daughter of Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, Shubha with Raman Yadav, son of Ram Kumar Yadav was conducted under high security and strict Covid protocol as President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Justice of India N V Ramana, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, BJP President JP Nadda along with other political stalwarts reached to congratulate the high-profile minister and bless the newly-weds.

On Friday evening almost the entire cabinet reached 9, Motilal Nehru Marg, the residence of Bhupender Yadav for the wedding.

The marriage celebrations were spread over the period of one week which saw BJP stalwarts, media icons and VIPs from other fields reaching to greet the Yadav family.

The officers from both his ministries had attended Shubha’s engagement while guests from Rajasthan and Haryana reached the village for the godh bharai ceremony on Monday.

On Tuesday, colleagues from Bihar and Jharkhand were invited for lunch while the party members from Gujarat and Maharashtra attended dinner.

Keeping in tune with the working profile of Modi’s cabinet, in the midst of the celebrations the Bhupender Yadav also attended a cabinet meeting and gave a speech at the World Sustainable Development Summit too.
