Famous Pop Artist Singer-Songwriter Siddhant Bhosle shared some insights about his latest release Nadaniya in this exclusive interview with City First

Tell me something about your dropped modernage pop funk record titled Nadaniya.
Nadaniya is one of the most upbeat songs I have put out to date; it is inspired by a lot of global pop funk disco and dance music genres, earlier I have always put out some chilled, soft and soulful songs, but I just felt like I wanted to showcase the other side of my personality, and also that we are out of these very difficult two years that everyone had, so I wanted to give a little bit of an energetic lift to the mood around me, and that is why I made Nadaniya. It was one of the very first few melodic ideas I had recorded on my phone (in voice notes) and I just wanted to write music by living in the moment because there are so many distractions around us and we have our phones and just so many things that stop us from truly doing something that we want to or we hesitate at the moment and our heart is telling us to do it but we still kind of don’t listen to our heart, and the song exactly talks about that and it’s telling the listeners to live free.

Your first indie single ‘Din Aur Raatein’ was released by Veteran Amitabh Bachchan on his Twitter handle how did you feel about this, give some insights.
It’s a very special song firstly because this was my first independent song that was made in lockdown and released in the lockdown. My sister shot the music video on my home terrace and it was quite special. Secondly, the song was launched by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan so I couldn’t have asked for a better launch for that. I was just so happy and grateful and it was just like an out-of-the-world experience for me. I’m thankful for all the love that the audience gave me and even from a fellow artist in the music industry. Honestly, to date, it’s one of my favourites music.

The music video captures Siddhant and Sana in their natural element, powerfully bringing the emotions of the song to life. A perfect blend of modern-age love, describe your experience working with them.
It was a great experience shooting this song. I hadn’t met Sana before the shoot, but we just connected, and it was very chill. The music video was shot in lots of different parts of LA. We squeezed the shoot into two days. Sana was so good to work with and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process of the shoot with her. I am glad that she also connected with the song as much as I did.
