Artist and Creator Dhiraj Sanap talks about his journey
Mumbai: Have you heard of Dhiraj Sanap, a widely known artist known for his comic timing? If not, let's dive into more details. Dhiraj is your typical guy next door, a storyteller who predominantly focuses on discussing the problems faced by the Gen Z and Millennial generations. Born and raised in Badlapur, he has some amazing life mantras. One such mantra is his belief in giving 100% to Plan A rather than having a backup plan. This artist gained the spotlight with his acts that depict the stories of today's generation. Whether it's exploring the dynamics of possessive or wealthy partners or portraying characters who are understanding and relatable, Dhiraj has a knack for capturing the essence of these situations. Initially, Dhiraj had planned to start posting on YouTube in 2019. However, due to a lack of access to the necessary production, his plans had to be put on hold. But then, everything changed during the 2020 lockdown when Instagram introduced reels. With newfound motivation, he began sharing his content on Instagram. To his surprise, within just a month, he managed to garner an impressive following of 10,000 followers, which was nothing short of incredible. At the time, he had no expectations of earning money from this platform; it was simply a source of entertainment and enjoyment.
Shortly he started realizing the true potential of his Instagram presence. What started as a lighthearted and amusing idea gradually transformed into something more serious. The notion of turning his passion into a full-time job became increasingly apparent, and he wholeheartedly embraced the idea. The possibility of monetizing his Instagram presence and making a living out of it became a thrilling prospect.
Catering to a broad audience, his performances revolve around relatable subjects such as the experiences of parents, actors, and artists as well. This relatability has caught the attention of numerous film personalities, including Sanjay Mishra, Manoj Bajpayee, and Rajpal Yadav. When asked about working with veterans, Dhiraj mentioned, "Working with them brought him immense joy as they were deeply engaged in the content creation process. They also offered insightful suggestions for camera angles and comic elements, significantly elevating the overall quality of the spoofs. The collaborative process was truly a delightful experience filled with enjoyable conversations, and he looks forward to collaborating again."
