ACB arrests agri supervisor while taking Rs 1,500 bribe

Sikar: In Rajasthan’s Sikar district, the AntiCorruption Bureau team arrested an agriculture supervisor redhanded while accepting a bribe of Rs 1,500 on Thursday. Deputy Superintendent of ACB Rajesh Jangid said that the accused, Babulal Jat, a resident of Jorawar Nagar of Shrimadhopur, works in Ramgarh Sethan Panchayat. He had demanded a bribe of Rs 2,000 from the complainant in lieu of passing the subsidy file of sprinkler irrigation equipment.

After the deal was fixed for Rs 1500, the ACB along with police inspector Suresh Chand laid their trap. The team arrested the accused and he was taken to the Ramgarh police station. After completing the proceedings, the ACB team will present the accused in the court on Friday
