ACB nabs AEN with Rs 20K bribe; one held in Jodhpur

Churu: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught redhanded Manoj Kumar Meena, AEN of Electricity Department, taking a bribe of Rs 20,000 in lieu of not filling the VCR of the shop of the complainant and taking further care. The accused has been demanding Rs 40,000 bribe. The complaint was verified under the direction Superintendent of police (SP) ACB Bikaner Devendra Kumar Vishnoi and a trap was laid.

Meanwhile, in Jodhpur the ACB caught red-handed Shivdan Charan, a resident of Rawati Road Sursagar, while taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant. A complaint was given to the Jodhpur unit that the complainant’s room constructed on a purchased plot was demolished by Hariram Bishnoi, Ranger Forest. When the complainant contacted Hariram, he asked to meet Shivdan Charan, who sought bribe. Under the supervision of Inspector General of Police, Sawai Singh Godara and ASP Durg Singh Rajpurohit, the complaint was verified and a trap was laid.
