Ajmer discom earns over Rs 33 cr revenue from settling disputes
Ajmer: The Ajmer Discom has recently earned a revenue of Rs 33.90 crore from disputes that were settled during National Lok Adalat on Feb 11. Officials informed that a total of 16,108 cases were disposed of during the Lok Adalat. “Of these 16,108 cases, 14,015 cases were related to the disconnection of electricity connection and 2,093 cases were related to theft or misuse of electricity. Instructions were given by Ajmer Discom to settle these disputes in Lok Adalat. Nearly 207 consumers of Ajmer city circle, 195 consumers in Ajmer district circle, 582 consumers in Bhilwara circle, and 838 consumers in Nagaur Circle benefitted through the Lok Adalat,” said NS Nirwan, Managing Director of Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited.
