Centre should increase quota under EWS to 14%: Dr BD Kalla

Dungarpur: Brahmin community has once again raised the demand for tickets in assembly and Lok Sabha elections to Brahmin leaders in proportion to their population. They also demanded nomination in boards and corporations on priority.

The party leaders were addressing the 7th Vipra Mahakumbh organised by Vipra Foundation in Dungarpur’s Sagwara which was also attended by Education Minister Dr BD Kalla.

Kalla said that the Centre should increase the reservation under EWS to 14%.Kalla also laid stress on establishing a Vipra bank and increasing employment opportunities for the Brahmin youths.

Congress spokesperson Gourav Vallabh spoke above the party lines. He said that the candidates of Vipra society should top in the exams for higher services. He said that insult to the Brahmins will not be tolerated.
