Doctor, lady constable held by ACB in Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested a govt doctor in Chittorgarh district while accepting a bribe of Rs 4,500. Police informed that Dr Ritesh Jain, posted in the govt hospital of Nimbahera town of Chittorgarh, had demanded bribe to perform a surgery on a pregnant woman.

“The complainant filed a complaint stating that her wife was admitted in a govt hospital as she was pregnant and expecting a delivery soon. The accused demanded a bribe of Rs 5,000 to perform a surgery for delivery of the baby. During verification of the complaint, Dr Ritesh Jain had already taken Rs 1000,” police said. “On Thursday, a trap was laid and the accused was caught redhanded with Rs 4K bribe. Searches are taking place at the premises of the accused and matter is being probed,” police added.

LADY CONSTABLE IN ACB NET FOR TAKING Rs 6K IN CHITTORGARH
The ACB on Thursday arrested a lady constable while accepting a bribe of Rs 6,000. Police informed the constable, Dhannu Jat, posted in Mahila Thana in Chittorgarh, sought bribe to help the complainant in a case filed against him. “The accused constable demanded Rs 8K to help the complainant. During the verification, She had already received Rs 2K. On Thursday, a trap was laid and the female constable was held with Rs 6K bribe,” police said.
