Female patwari in ACB net with Rs 8,000

Ajmer: The ACB on Monday arrested female patwari Darshana Sabal of Patwar Halka Khanpura in Ajmer red handed taking bribe of Rs 8,000 from the complainant. ADG ACB Hemant Priyadarshy said that a complaint was received that in lieu of opening the nomination of the complainant’s agricultural land, the accused sought bribe of Rs 8,000. The complaint was verified by DIG Sameer Kumar Singh and DSP Rakesh Verma and a trap was laid and the accused was held with the bribe amount. Ajmer ACB is conducting searches at residence and other places of female Patwari Darshana. ACB has started investigation by registering a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
