Five die by suicide in 3 separate incidents in Barmer district

Barmer: Tuesday proved as an black day for the bordering Barmer district as in three separate incidents, five people have ended their life by committing suicide. A woman and her son-in-law, who were allegedly having an lover affair, committed suicide by hanging from a tree. Incident took place under the rural police station area in Barmer. Police identified the deceased as Hotaram Bheel (25), a resident of Kerawa village and Dariya (38).

In second incident, a woman ended her life by jumping into a water tank after being harassed by sexual exploitation. In another incident under PS, a minor couple committed suicide by hanging after their families members opposed their love.
