‘I became CM thrice with peoples’ blessings’

Hanumangarh: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Friday that as soon as the government changes, the new government stops important schemes, the benefit of which is not available to everyone. “That’s why if the government gets 10 years, it can do a better job,” Gehlot said while addressing the workers while on a one-day visit to Hanumangarh district. Gehlot said that the people are parents and it is the people who form the government. “The policy of the Congress and the constitution of the party have always been in favour of the people. With the blessings of the public, I got the fortune of becoming CM thrice. I have worked with all the veteran leaders of Congress. I got a chance to work with Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Narasimha Rao, Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi. The party gave big responsibilities to an ordinary worker like me. I was made CM thrice in Rajasthan. We left no stone unturned to work for the general public. Despite this, losing the election is painful. When a government takes a visionary decision and in the meantime the government changes, it affects the pace of development,” CM said and urged the general public to repeat the government in the next elections. CM Gehlot has indicated to reopen the closed spinning mill of Hanumangarh district.
