Mafia arrested, licences suspended

Jhunjhunu: After the brutal beating to death of Rameshwar Valmiki from the Surajgarh police station area in Jhunjhunu, by liquor mafia members , Congress has reacted sharply.

PCC President Govind Singh Dotasra condemned the incident, stating, “In Jhunjhunu, liquor mafia beat a Dalit youth so mercilessly that he lost his life. Under the BJP govt, atrocities and caste discrimination against Dalits are continuously increasing. The BJP is inherently antiDalit. Crime is rampant across the state.”

Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully also criticized the law and order in State.

In response to the incident, authorities have suspended the licenses of the involved liquor mafia. Police have arrested several suspects, including Deependra alias Chintu Rajput, PK Meghwal, Baba Meghwal, Chintu Meghwal, and Sukha Meghwal, all residents of Baloada and Uriya villages. These individuals have a history of criminal activities and were promptly taken into custody by police.
