Man, two daughters hang to death over familial dispute

Barmer: A 55-year-old man and his two daughters died by suicide by hanging from a tree. Incident took place late on Thursday night under RGT police station area in Barmer. Prima facie police investigation revealed that family dispute led to this extreme step.

Police identified the deceased as Shankar Ram (55), Suwa (30) and Dhuri (15), all residents of Sanpa village under Sindhary block. Police said that two days ago Shankar Ram’s daughter Suwa, returned to father’s house over some dispute with her inlaws. Shankar Ram’s son Kheta Ram was not happy with his sister’s arrival and was in favour to send her back but his father denied.
